If you've been a follower of Upside Nutrition for awhile you would know that our product ReVive is taken by a variety of people including busy professionals and new mums.
However, a consistent group of people who repeatedly buy ReVive are athletes.
More specifically, athletes who lift HEAVY.
At first, I thought this was a nice trend and I didn't want to promote it too much out of fear of scaring the mums and less athletic customers.
However, now that this trend is growing I want to address it and provide some theory as to perhaps why it is working well for this specific group of people.
To people who don't lift heavy weights, and by heavy I mean the kind of weight where you cannot lift it more than 3 to 5 times, you may think that lifting heavy weights is just based on having big muscles and eating lots of food.
However, for those of you who, like me, like to lift heavy things, you understand that there is another major factor that can affect your lifting:
The Nervous System.
Have you ever turned up to work the day after attempting to squat your heaviest and found yourself unable to get anything done?
Have you ever gone out to dinner after a heavy deadlift session and found yourself to be akin to a hungry zombie who cannot put much of a sentence together?
That is almost certainly due to nervous system fatigue.
So, as much as the individual ingredients in ReVive have all been proven with countless studies to help with results along these lines I am convinced (from personal use along with feedback from customers) that by combining them into the ReVive formula, something special has been created.
So, if you're a busy person who also likes to lift heavy things, you may want to give ReVive a go and see how it affects your training efforts.
And, if you feel the benefits from training you will almost certainly achieve some additional flow on effects such as less fatigue, sharper focus and the ability to shrug off stress easier in your non-training life.
If you commit to it, make sure you let me know how you go in the comments section and feel free to ask any questions at any email by clicking the little paper plane at the bottom left-hand side of this page.
